Cathy Ewing has been teaching social Ballroom, Latin, Swing, and Country Western dance since 1984. She is professionally trained as a dance instructor by Carter Lovisone, Ed Dumbleton, and the world-renowned pros in the BYU Ballroom Dance Program. She also trained in martial arts (Tae Kwon Do, Woo Shoo, Aikido). She also received her BA in Psychology. This combination of education and experience has influenced her approach to teaching body mechanics, posture, balance, movement, and partnering.
Cathy provides a comprehensive approach to both the mental and physical aspects of learning to dance with a partner. She has become known for her unique style of teaching partnering, and developing self-confidence in a fun, social atmosphere. Emphasis is on understanding the basic techniques and body mechanics which apply to all social dance, while learning patterns, techniques, character, and styles specific to each dance.

Our focus is on teaching people from all walks of life to be able to get out on the social dance floor with a partner and enjoy “The Walk of Life”.
Rules:
#1 Nobody gets hurt (physically or emotionally).
#2 Everybody has fun.
Rates: (2-hr minimum is required for each lesson)
$50/hour for 1-5 Students
$10/hour/student for groups of 6 or more students
